Eminönü is where the city's public ferries leave for Üsküdar and Kadıköy on the Asian side, and where the Şehir Hatları Bosphorus tours start — a long tour up to Anadolu Kavağı and a shorter afternoon loop — along with private boats. The square behind the piers holds the New Mosque and the Spice Bazaar, and the fish-sandwich boats by the Galata Bridge are a minute further on.
