The International Water Resources Association holds its 20th World Water Congress at the Haliç Congress Center on the Golden Horn from 4 to 8 October 2027, bringing together water scientists and policymakers.

Where to stay
The congress centre is on the Golden Horn, about 10 minutes from Sirkeci by taxi in light traffic, or by the Haliç ferry from Karaköy to Sütlüce pier, 450 m from the entrance. For the evenings the historic peninsula is on your doorstep — Hagia Sophia is 8 minutes on foot from the hotel.
Getting there from the hotel
The simplest way is a taxi: about 10 minutes along the Golden Horn in light traffic. By ferry, walk across the Galata Bridge to Karaköy pier (about 12 minutes) and take the Haliç line to Sütlüce (roughly hourly on weekdays); the entrance is about 450 m from the pier.
