The Istanbul Half Marathon is scheduled for Sunday 25 April 2027, according to the AIMS international race calendar. The 21.1 km course runs through the Historic Peninsula and along the Golden Horn; the organiser publishes the exact start, finish and route map before registration opens.

Where to stay
In 2026 the course started and finished at Yenikapı — one Marmaray stop from Sirkeci — and ran past the Sirkeci traffic lights and Eminönü, a few steps from our door; check the organiser's 2027 route when it is published. On race morning, with roads closed, you take the train one stop instead of looking for a taxi. Breakfast is included and the front desk is staffed 24 hours.
