The Istanbul Film Festival runs from 8 to 18 April 2027. Screenings are spread across cinemas in Beyoğlu, Şişli and Kadıköy, and festival-goers spend eleven days moving between them rather than sitting in one venue.

Where to stay
That movement is the point: from Sirkeci the tram reaches Beyoğlu in minutes and the Marmaray crosses to Kadıköy in about fifteen. Staying in the old city means late screenings do not turn into long journeys home — and the mornings are free for Hagia Sophia and the Grand Bazaar.
