Formula 1 returns to Istanbul: the Turkish Grand Prix runs from Friday 1 to Sunday 3 October 2027 at Istanbul Park in Tuzla, on the Asian side of the city, with the race on Sunday.

Where to stay

Be honest with yourself about the distance: the circuit is in Tuzla, well over an hour from Sirkeci, so a race weekend here is a trip out of the city each day and back in the evening. What you get in return is the old city on your doorstep — Sultanahmet, the Grand Bazaar and the Bosphorus ferries — for the mornings and evenings around the track. The Marmaray line to Pendik starts about 50 m from the hotel; official shuttle and transport details for 2027 will be announced by the organiser. Breakfast is included and the front desk is staffed 24 hours for late returns.

Getting there from the hotel

Istanbul Park is far from the old city, out in Tuzla on the Asian side. Walk about 50 m to Sirkeci Marmaray and ride towards Gebze to Pendik; from there the circuit is still a taxi ride away. On race weekends the organiser usually adds shuttle services — official transport details for 2027 have not been announced yet, so check them before you set out.
