Getting there from the hotel

The simplest way is a taxi: about 10 minutes along the Golden Horn in light traffic. By ferry, walk across the Galata Bridge to Karaköy pier (about 12 minutes) and take the Haliç line to Sütlüce (roughly hourly on weekdays); the entrance is about 450 m from the pier.

Hotel Marius is in Sirkeci, inside the historic peninsula — the Marmaray and tram stations are about 50 m from the door.

Before and after the event

For a congress or conference, staying in Sirkeci keeps your evenings in the old city while the rail network takes you to the venue. The Rahmi M. Koç Museum in Hasköy — old trams, cars, boats and aircraft, with hands-on exhibits — is about 12 minutes from the congress centre at a brisk pace, along the northern shore of the Golden Horn. It is closed on Mondays.
