Istanbul Slush'D brings founders, investors and operators together at Rixos Tersane Istanbul, in the restored Golden Horn shipyards, from 12 to 14 October 2026. The organisers describe it as the startup event at the crossroads of Europe, Asia and MENA.

Where to stay

Tersane is on the Golden Horn, and so is Sirkeci: about 10 minutes by taxi in light traffic, or cross the Galata Bridge to Karaköy and take the Haliç ferry to Kasımpaşa in 10 minutes. After the sessions, the old city is on your doorstep — Hagia Sophia is 8 minutes on foot from the hotel.

Getting there from the hotel

The quickest way is a taxi: about 10 minutes via the Galata or Atatürk Bridge in light traffic. By public transport, cross the Galata Bridge to Karaköy and take the Haliç ferry to Kasımpaşa (10 minutes; roughly hourly on weekdays), then walk about 1.1 km — around 10 minutes at a brisk pace. From Şişhane station on the M2 metro it is about 1.7 km on foot, mostly downhill. On fair and event days the organisers often run a free shuttle from Şişhane and the Haliç car park — check the event's website.
