The 30th Istanbul Theatre Festival, organised by İKSV, runs from 22 October to 3 December 2026 on stages across the city. The international programme includes Caroline Guiela Nguyen's Lacrima (22–23 October), Ad Infinitum's wordless solo Last Rites (7–8 November) and Nederlands Dans Theater (27–28 November).

Where to stay

If you don't speak Turkish, dance and wordless pieces are the easiest way into the festival; for other productions, check the language and surtitle information in the festival programme. Performances are spread across several stages, so check each venue in the programme. Many of the city's stages are on the rail lines that meet at Sirkeci — Zorlu PSM, for example, is about 35 minutes away: Marmaray to Yenikapı, then the M2 metro to Gayrettepe. Evening shows end late; our front desk is staffed 24 hours and breakfast is included the next morning.
