Getting to the hotel
Galataport is the closest arrival point in Istanbul to our door. Walk out of the terminal, cross the Galata Bridge on foot and you are in Eminönü — Sirkeci is a few minutes further, about 20 minutes in all with the Golden Horn beside you the whole way. If you would rather not walk: the T1 tram from Tophane or Karaköy reaches Sirkeci in two or three stops.
Where to stay
Hotel Marius is in Sirkeci, inside the historic peninsula — the Marmaray and tram stations are about 50 m from the door.
