For the first time the Spanish Super Cup comes to Istanbul: four semi-finalists — Barcelona, Real Madrid, Atlético Madrid and Real Sociedad — play at the Atatürk Olympic Stadium between 2 and 7 February 2027. Fans arriving for the matches need a base in the city that is easy to leave and easy to come back to late at night.

Where to stay
Hotel Marius is in Sirkeci, inside the historic peninsula. The Marmaray station is about 50 metres from our door, and the stadium is about an hour away entirely by rail — Marmaray to Yenikapı, then the M1B and M3 metros — with no taxi queues after the final whistle. On non-match days Hagia Sophia, Topkapı Palace and the Grand Bazaar are a walk away, so the trip is not only football.
Getting there from the hotel
Walk about 50 m to Sirkeci Marmaray, ride to Yenikapı, change to the M1B metro to Kirazlı, then the M3 to Olimpiyat — the stadium is the last stop.
